Purposes and processing activities
Using the altereco.pl website
Personal data of all individuals using the Service (including IP address or other identifiers, as well as information collected through cookies or similar technologies), who are not registered Users (i.e., individuals without a profile in the Service), are processed by the Administrator for the following purposes:
• To provide electronic services in the scope of providing Users with content available in the Service and making contact forms available. The legal basis for processing is the necessity of processing for the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).
• For marketing purposes of the Administrator and other entities, particularly related to behavioral advertising. The principles of personal data processing for marketing purposes are described in the “MARKETING” section.
User activity in the Service, including their personal data, is recorded in system logs (a special computer program used to store a chronological record containing information about events and actions related to the information system used to provide services by the Administrator). The information collected in logs is processed in connection with the provision of services. The Administrator also processes this data for technical purposes, particularly for temporary storage and processing to ensure the security and proper functioning of the information systems, such as performing backups, testing changes in information systems, detecting abnormalities, or protecting against abuses and attacks.
Contact
When contacting ALTERECO LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY via email, the User naturally provides their email address as the sender’s address. Additionally, the User may include other personal data in the content of the message. Providing this data is voluntary but necessary to establish contact.
In this case, the User’s data is processed for the purpose of communication with the User, and the legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, i.e., the User’s consent resulting from initiating contact. The legal basis for processing after the contact is concluded is a legitimate interest in the form of archiving correspondence for the purpose of demonstrating its course in the future (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
The content of the correspondence may be subject to archiving, and the Administrator is unable to determine precisely when it will be deleted. The User has the right to request the presentation of the correspondence history conducted with the Administrator (if it has been archived) and may also request its deletion unless the archiving is justified by the overriding interest of the Administrator, such as defense against potential claims from the User.
Contact Forms
The Administrator provides the possibility to contact them using electronic contact forms. Using the form requires providing personal data necessary to contact the User and respond to their inquiry. The User may also provide additional data to facilitate contact or handle the inquiry. Providing data marked as mandatory is required to accept and process the inquiry, and failure to provide them results in the inability to process the request. Providing the remaining data is voluntary.
Personal data is processed for the purpose of identifying the sender and handling their inquiry submitted through the provided form. The legal basis for processing is the necessity of processing for the performance of a contract for the provision of services (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).
Marketing
The Administrator processes Users’ personal data for the purpose of conducting marketing activities. In some cases, the Administrator utilizes profiling, such as remarketing of advertisements. This means that through automated data processing, the Administrator assesses selected factors regarding individuals to analyze their behavior or create future predictions.

If a User wants to add a comment on the website, they must fill out the form and provide their email address and name. Providing the data is voluntary but necessary to add a comment.
The data provided when adding a comment is used for publishing the comment on the website, and the legal basis for processing it is the User’s consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR) resulting from adding the comment.
The data will be processed for the duration of the comments’ existence on the website unless the User requests the removal of the comment, which will result in the User’s data being deleted from the database.
At any time, the User can correct their data associated with the comment and request its deletion.
